CPR/AED
For The Workplace & Community:
This course is designed to teach individuals basic life
support (BLS) for the home and workplace (not intended for healthcare
providers). You will learn how to administer CPR to adults, children
and infants. Learn to assess the signs of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA),
heart attack, stroke and foreign-body obstruction (FBAO). Learn to
handle emergency situations, prevent disease transmission, administer
chest compressions and operate an Automated External Defibrillator
(AED).
This course is intended for any individual that need or want CPR/AED
Certification and training for infants, children and adults. This
includes parents, grandparents, babysitters, teachers, child care
workers, bus drivers, adult residential care personnel, employees and
others.
Upon successful
completion and competent performance of the required core knowledge and
skills objectives all students receive a 2 year ASHI CPR/AED
certification card.

CPR
Pro (Professional-level BLS):
Designed for the professional rescuer this class teachs
recognition of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), heart attack and stroke as
well as two rescuer CPR and the use of a bag valve-mask. This course
also teachs the proper operation of an Automated External Defibrillator
(AED). Learn all the skills necessary to obtain professional level
basic life support certification.
This course is intended for healthcare providers, first responders,
professional rescuers in and outside of the hospital, lifeguards,
police, fire and rescuers or anyone needing professional level basic
life support training as a job requirement.
Upon
successful completion
and competent performance of the required core knowledge and skills
objectives all students receive a 2 year ASHI Pro-CPR/AED certification
card.

Basic
First Aid:
Basic
first aid will teach you the skills necessary to handle emergency
situations by recognizing the signs and treating injuries and sudden
illness until advanced medical care arrives. First Aid teaches you the
crucial skills needed to deal with emergencies such as bleeding, shock,
burns, strains, fractures, allergic reactions, diabetics and seizures.
This class does not include CPR/AED training.
This class is intended for those requiring or possessing a desire for
first aid knowledge and skills with a focus on adults, children or
both. This includes emergency response teams in business's, schools bus
drivers, adult care personnel, child care workers, teachers, parents
and babysitters.
2 year First Aid
Certification card provided upon satisfactory completion of all course
materials and skills tests.

CABS
"Child & Babysitting Safety"
The objective of this course is to provide young adults with
the basic skills and information necessary in caring for infants and
children. This program will teach the importance of responsibility,
recognizing and emergency, emergency action steps, personal safety,
fire safety, water safety, infant care as well as basic first aid and
choking.
The intended audience for this class is young adults wishing to provide
child care and babysitting services.
Upon satisfactory
completion of written exam and evaluation students receive a 1 year
child and babysitting safety certification card. "Though
not required CPR/AED & First Aid Certification are Recommended"
Course Fee: $50.00*+
Compression
Only CPR:
Compression only CPR is a course designed to teach
individuals who are unwilling or unable to perform rescue breathing
with the proper skills needed to asses a life threatening situation and
if necessary perform chest compressions until an AED is present or
professionals arrive.
Class intended for all those individuals having the desire to learn
"Hands Only (Compression Only) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. (Not
intended for healthcare providers)
There is no
certification associated with this course.

Safety
Seminars:
AZ Premier Medical offers a number of general safety
seminars these include water safety tips, holiday safety tips, home
evacuation planning, fire safety in the home.
These classes are designed to inform and teach various safety
techniques for the home through fun interactive seminars. These
seminars are designed with the whole family in mind and will help to
teach families how to provide a safe family environment. Intended
audiences are 5-adult.
These courses will be provided free to church groups, senior
communities and other non for profit agencies. Classes are first come
first serve. Please call to discuss class desired and availability. If
you don't see what you are looking for ask.
Child Care Injury Prevention & Infection Control Training Program:
The goal of this program is to reduce the frequency and the severity of injuries in the childcare setting by training childcare workers to recognize the signs and symptoms of important childhood illnesses. Childcare workers will be given the skills needed to conduct regular safety checks, modify environment to reduce hazards, understand effective methods of visual supervision, enforce rules for safe play activities and adhere to a designated emergency action plan.
This course is intended for individuals that work in a childcare environment.
Upon completion of this course participants will receive a Child Care Injury And Infection Control Training Certificate.
